We are looking for a Transformation Manager to join the SEFirst Transformation Team. The role will be focused on facilitating the achievement of optimum business processes through managing our internal systems developments & engagement. The main responsibilities will include the testing of new functionality, creation of development specifications & tickets, and managing the first/second line support for incoming user requests. This is a key role at a pivotal time in our journey supporting the transition of our systems.

The role

  • First line management of the Development inbox
  • Second line management of the Fusion Support channel
  • First line management of Translator requests (bugs/changes/new)
  • First line management of contract amendment requests
  • Support any other ongoing day-to-day requirements from stakeholders
  • Creation of specifications and development tickets
  • Manage any agreed IT Transformation projects
  • Testing of new Fusion functionality & features, including required developer feedback and follow on tickets
  • User notifications in relation to newly released functionality & features
  • Creation and ongoing maintenance of high-level Fusion user guides to support key functionality
  • Support the ongoing maintenance of the Fusion master guide and demonstration videos – in line with functionality/feature releases
  • Facilitate the close-down of existing systems by sourcing required feedback on current uses
  • Maximise the use of Fusion with both internal and external users
  • Support with specific activities/projects to drive Fusion engagement
  • Contribution to sprint retrospectives, sprint planning and estimation sessions

Our ideal candidate

  • Organised & thorough, has attention to detail with a completer/finisher edge
  • Keen to learn, analytical, inquisitive – considers the impact further down the process
  • Some operational energy experience would be a distinct advantage
  • Proficient multi-tasker, can competently balance many activities at once - and enjoys working in this way
  • Happy to work at a fast pace
  • No specific IT background/experience essential however must be comfortable navigating systems – any experience of testing new system features/developing new systems would be advantageous
  • Comfortable interacting with stakeholders – within the IT team and the wider organization
  • Ideally has previous experience in a Process Improvement, Operational Transformation, Business Analyst, Software Testing, or Project Management role.
