Energy Advice Hub shortlisted for edie Sustainability Leaders Award

We’re very proud to announce that our Energy Advice Hub has been shortlisted for “Consumer Engagement/Marketing Campaign of the Year” at edie’s Sustainability Leaders Awards!

The Awards are the biggest of their kind in the world, championing the very best of climate action, perseverance and innovation. The Energy Advice Hub has been recognised for its commitment to helping tens of thousands of energy professionals achieve best practice in carbon compliance and reduction.

To date we have invested over 2,000 hours in curating, researching and writing useful content for energy and compliance managers.

“Go-to” resource

The Energy Advice Hub is a free-to-access, impartial information resource which breaks down complex carbon policy information in a clear way.

It was conceived by energy consultancy BiU in 2018, following the introduction of Streamlined Energy and Carbon Reporting (SECR). Many businesses were facing mandatory carbon reporting for the first time, and BiU wanted to create an information hub that would guide companies through their obligations, as well as keeping them up to date on future policy changes.

Continued investment

To date, in partnership with sector specialists Content Coms, we have invested over 2,000 hours in curating, researching and writing useful content for energy and compliance managers, as well as hundreds of hours providing 1-2-1 advice. We’ve also spent over 800 hours continually improving access to the information, through website tweaks and user journey reviews.

Since the Hub’s launch, we’ve helped tens of thousands of energy professionals across a range of carbon reporting and energy management topics. Our visitors represent a diverse audience, including large businesses, energy intensive industries, retail, charities and over 200 public sector organisations.
